About Lakeland Beauty Bar
Our Story
Lakeland Beauty Bar was born in January of 2023. The space was created for stylists to exercise their creative freedom by remaining independent contractors, yet enjoying a team atmosphere of support, encouragement and like-mindedness.
Owner, Jenna Averett, has been a licensed hairstylist since 2012 and a salon owner since 2018. Jenna is an also an educator for the hair extension company EasiHairPro. She is absolutely obsessed with the ever-changing beauty industry. She worked at a Paul Mitchell Salon for 10 years of her career where she grew her knowledge and expertise of hair color, including lived-in balayage, grey coverage, and platinum blonding. As an educator in the industry, she’s also passionate about mentoring young stylists and setting them up for success in this industry.

How long do I have to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
We graciously ask for 72 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. We get it, life happens! Please keep in mind that all of our stylists are independent contractors and their income is a direct reflection of the services they perform. Last minute cancellations make a huge impact on our ability to book our clients efficiently and also can be detrimental on the planned income we bring home to our families. Thank you for considering these things before booking an appointment.
Do I need to wash my hair before my appointment for a color service?
We love to perform color services on hair that has been washed 24-48 hours prior to your appointment day for any color service.
Do you require deposits?
We are independent contractors, so each stylist has their own policy.
